Easter isn't over. And though we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the resurrection in our own lives, Easter isn't the absence of the valleys. By definition, valleys are "depressed areas of land-scoured and washed out by the conspiring forces of gravity, water, and ice."
America feels like a valley. As Black, Brown, and poor people continue to be killed by the police, the valley of America is too deep and too high to even count.

In this episode, Melissa and Bishop Wright discuss the valley of America. They discuss the pain and suffering and where there is hope and love. This episode was recorded just a day before the guilty verdict of police officer Derek Chauvin for murdering George Floyd and just 10 days after the murder of Daunte Wright at the hands of another police officer. Listen in for the full conversation.
